BUILDING TIMELINE
Thank you again for trusting us at Farmbrooke Meadows to build your custom home. Below is the building timeline that will go over what you can expect to be doing while your home is being built.
Be sure to read the information below and feel free to watch the information videos that will help you understand exactly what you'll need to do and what options will be available to you at each stage in the process.
Contract Signed
Your journey begins from the moment your contact is signed!
Week 1
Make your mortgage application with Kathy Brown.
Week 2
Contact Evan at Appliance Distributors Unlimited (ADU) to schedule an appointment to make your appliance selections.
Week 3
Contact Kris Kostoff at Cabinetry Creations to start designing your kitchen, bathrooms, ancillary, and countertops.
Week 3
Establish your builder’s risk insurance policy
Week 4
Meet with Phil and/or Gregg to make exterior and interior selections.
Week 4
Go to settlement and purchase your lot (Sometimes held on week 5).
Week 5
Contact Cody Carmon with Weckers Carpet
Week 10
Have a joint meeting with Todd Martin with Copperhead Electric and Jeff Powell with OMNI Systems for your electrical walkthrough (Todd will call to schedule this meeting).
Week 12
Customize your homes lighting with Amy at Schaedler Yesco when you choose each fixture for each room.
2 Months Before Finish
Contact Tom Evans with Zebra Tile to make your selections.
45 Days Before Finish
Contact Steve Martin with Extreme Enclosures to go over shelving and accessories.
1 Week Before Finish
Schedule your homeowner orientation with Gregg.
1 Week Before Finish
Call utility companies to establish service.
Completed!
At this point, your home is completed and ready for move in day! We'll hand over the keys, and you'll start your new life in Farmbrooke Meadows!
